THE WITCHES
WITCH: [ wich ] noun. A female, non-human, sentient being with supernatural powers.
The average witch is 3x more powerful than their male counterpart, but only after they fully mature. Pre-teen and adolescent witches are only capable of performing the first two of the ‘5 Forms Of Magic’: Incantation & Potion. Post-adolescence is a troubling time for witches. Their body composition begins to change and their powers grow at an exponential rate, coming to fruition at (or near) the age of 21. It is believed that this rapid change causes a chemical imbalance in their brains making them crazy and in turn, evil. A full-grown witch will be expertly versed in all ‘5 Forms Of Magic’. A superior witch can combine forms to produce even more power. They have higher calcium and mineral levels in their skeletal frame which greatly increases their bone density, making them stronger and faster than humans from birth. As they age, their speed and strength will increase drastically; only lycans will be faster, and only vampires will be stronger. They will become capable of drawing energy from their Qi (chi) – their life force – and, “throwing it”. The more powerful the witch; the more powerful the Qi; the more powerful the blast. Their powers will continue to grow as they age and gather knowledge. Knowledge equals strength in magic. A gifted witch with superior knowledge is the most dangerous being on the planet. Vampire toxin is lethal to witches. Mortal wounds such as a gunshot or stabbing can injure, or even kill them. Witches can only be impregnated once in their lifetime. They normally bear only one offspring, but there have been a few documented cases in history of witches giving birth to twins. When of age and their full power has been achieved, witches can levitate 12 – 14 inches off the ground. Being off the ground increases their speed and agility making them more formidable in a fight than they already are. The average witch’s top speed is just under 40mph compared to the 12mph a human can reach. A superior witch can move around 50mph and physically, they will have 4x the strength of an above average human male. A select few can come close to rivaling the strength of a vampire.

A pre-teen, or adolescent witch that is only capable of using incantation magic. They mature at a much slower rate than their male counterparts, which makes them vulnerable.

#5.) HAZEL
“The Angry One“
BORN: 1969, Boucan Carre, Haiti
She was an orphan who, out of fear, was caged and thrown over a cliff at age twelve. She somehow survived, and eleven years later- returned to exact her revenge on the villagers of the Sacred Heart Mission who betrayed her. She was killed in 1992, at the age of twenty-three by Jean Laveau.
Before that she took a total of 56 lives in her short reign.

BORN: c. 1660, South America
An enslaved South American Indian, and the one true witch in Salem, Massachusetts during the Witch Trials. She pleaded guilty to witchcraft, then cast a spell forcing her accusers to release her. Soon after that, 37 other innocent women were killed because she accused them of witchcraft. She disappeared shortly after that for 20 years until she was finally killed by Philippe Gerard, and his colleagues, in Boston, in 1711. She took a total of 72 lives.

“The Evil One“
BORN: 1654, Germany
She was believed to be around 47 years old. Her ghost-like appearance and slight stature led most to underestimate her abilities but, make no mistake, she was as ruthless a killer as they come. At night she would sneak into villages and steal babies from their cribs. She would lure young children into the forest, never to be seen or heard from again, and she would kill anyone who got in her way.
Eventually, she was dispatched by Philippe Gerard, and his colleagues, in the Black Forest, just outside of Freiburg, Germany in 1701. More than half of the 96 lives she took were under the age of 10.
#2) ESMERELDA
“The Beautiful One“
BORN: 1913, Bay City, Texas
She was said to have an unadulterated hatred for men. She found out about the ‘Warlock’s Responsibility’ after her husband tried to kill her, shortly after giving birth to their twins. She tortured him until he told her the truth. The Council then set out on the largest witch hunt since Philippe Gerard’s initial crusade in 1693. Dozens of Enforcers, Alphas, Betas, and Vampires were sent after her. None of them survived. She was finally trapped and killed in 1939 in Jacinto City, TX after a supposed, 288 lives had been taken, including her own infant male child. Only 1 Enforcer survived. Using her, then 6-year-old, daughter as his shield, she never fired upon him.

BORN: Unknown
There is no data on exactly when and where she was born or exactly how old she was. Some believe she was well over 200 years old, and responsible for the death of 1000’s of lives during her time. To this day malafecs won’t say her name out loud, out of fear and respect. It is documented that she was KILLED in the bayou of the Louisiana Territory, in 1723 by Philippe Gerard and his colleagues, but… some types of evil never die.
